National Trust Atrium Panels
A series of five double-faced panels, each 2 x 2.5 metres commissioned by the National Trust for the double-height atrium in their new central office (Fielden Clegg Bradley Architects). The panels are suspended on a winch system and can be either raised above head height or lowered to break up the space and create alcoves - informal meeting areas.
“...the space has a very dynamic quality with the panels moving like theatre flats to change the scale and function of the atrium. It has been a wonderful opportunity to create large-scale pieces which work equally well both at an intimate level as well as from a distance...”
