Sgraffito for Heal's

A little over a year ago we were approached by Heal’s to design an exclusive bedlinen collection for them. I am delighted to say that the resulting design - Sgraffito - is now in store and online at Heal’s.

The Sgraffito collection is jacquard-woven in Portugal in a deep teal and oatmeal. The fabric is woven in a mix of linen an cotton, giving it a lovely gently slubbed texture.

The design is made up of a series of fine ‘hand-drawn’ over and under-shot lines creating a broken grid pattern.

The images above and at the bottom of the page are from the Heal’s press day earlier in the year and show the Sgraffito bedlinen along with our Furlong blanket and cushion and our Carpenter’s cushion. The beautiful bent-wood lamp is by Tom Raffield.

The name Sgraffito references the ceramic technique in which thin lies are scratched into the clay. These images above, of beautiful abstract Sgraffito patterns are by master-ceramicist Sophie Cook

The Sgraffito collection is available exclusively from Heal’s
