The design references arable field patterns and is named for the imperial term of measurement. First coined in Anglo-Saxon times, a furlong was the length of common field that a team of oxen would plough, and the name is derived from a ‘furrow’s length’. 

Woven with a chunky flecked Irish tweed yarn and a contrasting fine even wool.
