This striking bolster cushion is named for the North Essex town of Thaxted. The graphic design is woven in a pinstriped monochrome block on a dove grey ground. A walnut brown hoop encircles the girth of the cushion. Within the repeated chequerboard composition of the cushions the placement of the monochrome blocks may alternate between top left/ bottom right and bottom left/ top right - both equally pleasing. Fine score-lines runs across the surface of the blanket creating a subtle ribbed texture.

Woven in my standard weight wool.
